Embracing the concept of alchemy, where particles evoke a sense of magic and ancient elements, we explored a world where a single particle can transform into millions. The sky's the limit when particles are the core concept—they fluidly morph from everyday objects to abstract representations of data. The style and technique remain grounded even as the particles continually evolve, taking a journey from their initial movement to radical explosions. The technical challenge was ensuring these particles could seamlessly transform from one form to another while maintaining an exact count. 

This was our first time creating a 360° video, an epic concept from Digitas Liquorice for their "Dirt is Good'' campaign for OMO washing powder. The piece, featured on social media, received an enthusiastic response in South Africa, introducing many viewers to the 360° video technique for the first time. The video opens with a boy exhilarated as he fearlessly jumps into a mud puddle, contrasting with an environment that is terrified of getting dirty. The best part is the over-exaggeration throughout.

We shot the base plate in a park in Cape Town and filmed all the talent in the studio. The trickiest part was ensuring the lighting direction and eyelines were correct for the full 360° experience. Planning and testing before the shoot were crucial, down to the placement of extra prop elements like running robots, kites, and a dog crash-landing into our carefully crafted cake.
